00:00PhilHealth has now removed the Single Period Confinement or SPC.

00:05This means that PhilHealth will be responsible for hospitalization

00:09of the same or the opposite disease within 60 days.

00:13According to PhilHealth, they decided to remove the SPC rule

00:18or the one-time payment to the patient who is repeatedly hospitalized

00:23with the same disease to ensure the continuous benefits to the members.

00:28Meanwhile, PhilHealth reminds that any benefits can be used

00:33within 45 days for the whole year, except for the hemodialysis.

00:39The hemodialysis package has a separate 156 sessions per year.
