Béatrice "Mama Bea" Tekielski, French author and singer of Italian-Polish origins, is little known outside of France. Tekielski is a singer and author of frightened versatility, halfways between rock and avant-garde. The 1977 album "La folle" was a courageous and singular test in the recording panorama, pervaded by a hallucinating, violent tension of shocked performances, vocal primitivism, effects, piano and keyboards and lysergic guitars, hints of cosmic music, in a sabbathic merge of vocals and instrumental spirituality.
