The third album by Italian group Nuova Idea was quite different from the previous one that was in the edge of Italian symphonic prog. "Clown" was a strong album, alternated between heavy prog where guitar and Hammond organ compete for domination, with powerful vocals sometimes screamy, dissonant horns, with occasional hints of symphonic rock. Strong and complex album, with obsessive song-writing and granitic music.
