Zabu (Lucien Zabuski), was the original vocalist for Magma, prior to the enlistment of Klaus Blasquiz. Despite the fact that most of the backing band consisted of Zabu's Magma cohorts, most of the music is in the Southern blues rock style and cool steamboat jazz rock, dominated by Zabu's rough and energetic voice.
