00:00Department of Labor and Employment, or DOLE, confirmed wage hikes can now be implemented in other areas

00:06following President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.'s directive.

00:09Labor Secretary Bienvenido La Guzma announced consultations with the Regional Tripartite Wages

00:16and Productivity Board, or RTWPB, Calabarzon are expected this month to implement the wage increase in the region.

00:24Last month, RTWPBS in Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Central Visayas, and Soxargen worked on this.

00:32Consultations are planned for October in the Ilocos region, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula,

00:39Cordillera Administrative Region, Mimaropa, Bicol Region, and in Eastern Visayas.

00:44In July, the RTWPB National Capital Region approved a P35 increase in the daily minimum wage,

00:53raising it to Php 645 per day.
