00:00One other game that I want to just, you know, kind of bring up to you, you know, you covered

00:06the Seahawks for a really long time.

00:08And I think it's super interesting that Bo Nix has been named the starting quarterback

00:11of Denver.

00:12He had a really nice preseason, but he's also not just not just as he the starter, he's

00:16a captain for the Denver Broncos.

00:19So you know, I don't think Seattle poses much threat to San Francisco.

00:25I don't know if Seattle is a real contender even just to make the postseason.

00:28But I just wonder what you think about the Broncos starting a rookie quarterback and

00:32the opening game in Seattle.

00:34Yeah, definitely like Seattle on this one.

00:38It's always tough for rookies in their opening season game, particularly on the road.

00:43Seattle is a tough place to play.

00:46And I had a chance to watch Seattle in the preseason.

00:48And again, I know it's preseason and everybody is vanilla.

00:52But I really liked the way that they pursued the football and the way they tackled in the

00:56open field, just kind of those basic fundamentals.

00:59We haven't seen a Seattle do that for a Seattle defense do that for a number of years.

01:04And so it's not a cut, they kind of seem to be getting back to the old Seattle defense

01:09that we saw the first couple years when Pete was there.

01:13So really impressed with Mike McDonald in terms of how he's handled the situation.

01:18A very stoic approach when you see him in the press conferences and on the sidelines.

01:24There are a lot of unknowns, new office coordinator, Ryan Grubb, new defense coordinator, new special

01:30teams coach, Jay Harbaugh, Jim Harbaugh's son.

01:34So you wonder how they're going to handle it.

01:37But I think the defense is going to play well, which is probably the most important thing

01:40because they've really struggled defensively.

01:43And they have some pieces on offense, kind of like the Rams.

01:47You wonder how they're going to do the first couple weeks you watch them.

01:50But I do like them against a rookie in terms of what Mike McDonald will do defensively

01:56against that rookie on Sunday.
