Timbalan Perdana Menteri,Fadillah Yusof memberitahu kerajaan hanya akan ‘mengupas’ isu pertikaian memorandum persefahaman (MoU) peruntukan Ahli Parlimen pembangkang selepas menerima jawapan rasmi daripada mereka.
00:00The Prime Minister, Fadhilah Yusof, told the government that he would only address the issue of the Memorandum of Understanding between the opposition MPs after receiving an official answer from them.
00:15He said so in response to the statement of the head of the National Union Committee, Takiuddin Hassan, that there are strange conditions in the Memorandum of Understanding, including that representatives of the people need to declare their assets and declare their support for the government until the end of the parliamentary session.
00:30First, the FMT reported that Takiuddin said that his party was still discussing whether to accept the seven conditions set by the government in the Memorandum of Understanding draft or not.
00:40In addition to declaring assets and support for the government, the Memorandum of Understanding also touched on the issue of the Three Arabs.
00:46Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said on July 9 that the distribution of votes to the opposition MPs should not be a complicated issue to resolve.
00:55He said this is because the conditions set by the opposition MPs who want to get votes are the basic conditions and the usual process in any election and democratic practice.
