Donations ‘trapped’ inside permanently closed Save the Children charity shop in Union Street, Maidstone

Donations have been left to rot inside a Grade II listed charity shop after it closed during the pandemic and never reopened.

00:00It's been empty for three years. I'm not moved for three years.

00:03People keep chucking all their charity stuff outside and it gets spread all over the road.

00:07And because we've done this one we decided we wouldn't mind that one

00:11to do the same thing as we've done here. And we're still waiting to hear that.

00:15Now they're on about maybe putting it in auction. Who knows if they do that.

00:20We've been looking at the auctions every day to see if it's on and it's not yet.

00:24But we are after it. We've been after it for months.

00:26I would start work on that tomorrow and put it back to the house.
