00:00this is heat number four of the men's 400 meters remember first three and only
00:04three fastest qualifying spots to go 47.57 is the slowest of those that was
00:10Bapi Hanzda of India 18 years old Dragos Ignat Nastasa of Romania 18 years old
00:1847.42 personal best Vinicius Moura for Brazil personal best of 46.32 and then
00:26for the athletes refugee team James Lemoy Losholoku
00:34inside him Jaden Davis of the USA the fastest in this field with a 45.49 run in
00:42the thin air of Boulder Colorado GW Jasta Kirulu of Sri Lanka 18 years old
00:49personal best of 47.28 and then for South Africa Brian Kattu with a personal
00:57best of 46.52
01:02Joshen Sylvester of Grenada 18 years old and the personal best and season's best
01:08of 46.93 Jaden Davis from Arizona State University of Tampa
01:24we're going back into collegiate system
01:31you
01:36as the man to watch yeah
01:40so
01:58okay
02:02so Jaden Davis quickly quickly away flying around that first bend trying to
02:09make an impact on Vinicius Moura of Brazil who's also started really quickly
02:13outside him and then Kattu of South Africa also running really really well
02:18so not much yet to choose between these men as they go into the second bend and
02:23that stagger will unwind even further now it seems that Jaden Davis has put
02:27his foot to the floor and is starting to edge away and maintain that gap around
02:31the stagger into the straight will now be able to ease back perhaps a tad not
02:37too much to put himself in danger in this time straight and now he's choosing
02:40to keep pushing hard to the line and it's the South African Kattu who is now
02:44tying up resilient is clear outside and it was Karula who came through to get
02:51that other automatic qualifying spot for Sri Lanka
02:57nice cheers and applause for Lohsa Luka of the athletes refugee team hopefully
03:05they found hotels for them because they were still struggling to find hotel
03:08rooms when I came in the other day
03:13a win there for Davis easily and comfortably for him 46.32 Moura taking
03:20second place 47.55 and Karula third 47.64 that time from Kattu won't be fast
03:27enough to put him into the queue room a really really dominant dominant run from
03:33Jaden Davis underlining his form and holding it well through this season
03:40moving away to the line has to now go away get a rub down something to eat and
03:45come back in five hours for that semifinal
03:51relaxed maintaining his form well down that straight not putting any extra
03:58energy into it but not really shutting it down either no glance across to the
04:01screen to see what's happening behind him
04:14so the results of that Davis Moura and Karula advancing through to that final
04:20it was a personal best for the athletes refugee team representative James Lemoy
04:24Lohsa Luka with 58.03
04:47still plenty of action to come in this morning session welcome along if you've
