00:00At the foot of the Eiffel Tower, there is no more encouragement from supporters,

00:04nor from beachvolley matches.

00:07But workers in the middle of the construction site, mobilized from the end of the competition.

00:12In a few days, the Eiffel Tower Stadium will host the C6 Football competitions.

00:16Between these two disciplines, some modifications are necessary, like this new floor.

00:23We decided not to remove the sand from the beachvolley,

00:27because it represented 400 tons of sand to be removed,

00:30which was very complicated in terms of the timing that we have at our disposal.

00:33So the first step was to cover this beachvolley.

00:36While waiting for September 1st and the first match of C6 Football,

00:44a little demonstration from our colleague Matteo.

00:53It's as we imagine it. It's super complicated.

00:59The discipline is similar to that of the Valides, with a few amendments.

01:05It's football for visually impaired people.

01:07We play 5 against 5, with a goalkeeper and 4 blind players.

01:10The players have masks, because some of them have some light perceptions.

01:14And then you have a lot of adaptations, like the sound ball,

01:18which allows the players to spot it when it moves.

01:21Another site in transformation, the Arena Paris-Sud.

01:25Before there was volleyball, now it's boccia.

01:29A sport similar to the pétanque.

01:33In the stands, the places have been divided by two, and the field has been completely redeveloped.

01:39The competition area has been widened for boccia.

01:42So on three sides, the competition area is bigger,

01:46because the technical tables, where the officials and referees are placed,

01:51will now be placed on the competition area.

01:54The competitions start next Thursday.

01:56Athletes should start training here as early as this week.
