00:03It's day four of an incursion into the Russian border province of Kursk.

00:11The Reuters news agency confirming verification for images that show the destruction of an

00:16entire Russian column of 12 trucks ambushed in the Rilskiy district of Kursk.

00:25Emmanuelle Schaas reports from the eastern front and the town of Pokrovsk.

00:33With Russia declaring the federal state of emergency, we can see just how chaotic is

00:39the situation in Russia.

00:41We know that fighting continues in Kursk region from the Russian side on Russian television

00:49channels and information channels also and on social media.

00:53Here in Ukraine, there's still operational silence.

00:56There's no information filtrating on the fighting itself.

01:00We had comments earlier from the advisor to the presidency, Mihailo Podoliak, talking

01:06about the end of impunity for Russia with this war coming back to its own territory

01:12and Volodymyr Zelensky was mentioning Russia that, according to him, needed to feel what

01:17it was doing to Ukraine.

01:19Strategically, we had mentioned earlier that one of the reasons for those incursions could

01:25be to try and force Russia to move troops from the eastern front towards Kursk region

01:31to respond to that Ukrainian incursion.

01:43this front line is coming closer every day because Russia has thrown in a lot of troops

01:49in the Pokrovsk direction because this is one of its main objectives in the West.

01:55Here, air raid alerts continue, bombing continue.

01:59Just nearby in the city of Konstantinovka earlier today, a supermarket was bombed.

02:04There's already scores of people who have been found injured.

02:10There's also many dead.

02:12So here on the eastern front, we do not notice yet whether or not those incursions aimed

02:18at diverting the Russian army from the eastern front as one of its objectives.

02:24We do not note any difference.

02:26It is an everyday war here in the eastern part of Ukraine.
