British artist Banksy reveals three artworks but no description, fueling speculation about their meaning

00:00It's the third mural to appear in London in just three days.

00:04This time it showcases a trio of monkeys swinging across a bridge over Brick Lane.

00:10On Tuesday it was two elephant silhouettes, their trunks stretched towards each other

00:14on the side of a house in Chelsea.

00:17And just a day before he posted an artwork of a goat perched on top of a wall near Kew

00:21Bridge.

00:22Banksy confirmed all three works were his via his Instagram but didn't write a caption

00:27for any of them, fuelling speculation about their meaning.

00:31I think my take on it is that what Banksy is trying to do is to really get us to think

00:38and reflect about the ecological crisis.

00:42So we're seeing his focus seems to be on animals, on trees, on oceans.

00:50Another idea circulating among fans suggests there's a link with the recent far-right rioters.

00:55Another is that the goat is actually a mountain gazelle from Palestine.

00:58Others have an entirely different interpretation.

01:02A few people speculating, obviously the Olympics going on at the moment, lots of people talking

01:06about goats greatest of all time, maybe it's symbolic of that.

01:11Banksy's artwork, which often provides political and social commentary, has appeared in public

01:15spaces across the globe.

01:17But where they'll pop up next and the meaning behind them are as mysterious as the artist

01:22himself.
