00:00But into the Northeast, finally, after a week of tracking this system with very slow movement,
00:05a trough is going to scoop this up from the Great Lakes and pull it rapidly up into the Northeast.
00:10So we're going to see a rapid movement and we'll see gusts of wind 40 to 60 miles per hour
00:15in the Northeast. Strongest near the coast, weakest into the interior if you're not in
00:19a high elevation. And overall, again, there will be some power outages both tonight in eastern
00:25North Carolina, southeastern parts of South Carolina too, but also tomorrow night into Friday,
00:32mainly Friday night, into the Northeast with some wind combined with that very heavy rain.
00:38So Thursday's forecast, not bad to the North, but we have showers and rain escalating from
00:43South to North. And as we carry this forward from the current time into the Northeast,
00:48tomorrow is going to be a really wet day in Charlotte and into Raleigh, flooding likely
00:53there into Virginia, then into Friday into the area of Pennsylvania, Maryland. The worst of this
00:58for steadiest, heaviest rain is the interior, but we're going to have brief rounds of intense rain
01:04and even isolated tornado threats east of there for I-95. Interstate 95, 2 to 4 inches of rain.
01:10That's the second shade of green. Then you get into the interior, 4 to 8 inches of rain. That's
01:16a huge deal. We're going to see a lot of flooding tied to this year in the Northeast and that will
01:20be a big danger, primarily Friday. Friday's the day in the Northeast. By Saturday, this is
01:25scooting away into the Canadian Maritimes. For expert insights and superior accuracy,
