00:00Everyone seemed to agree that he was the ring inspector, because he's so curious about

00:10whatever I'm working on.

00:11Whatever I'm doing with my hands, he wants to be part of.

00:14So he has to smell it, taste it, look at it, touch it.

00:18He's very bright.

00:20He looks you right in the eyes.

00:22He's really affectionate.

00:25He's a lot more personality than you would ever think from a squirrel.

00:30The long-term dream was always to have a shop in Florida.

00:33So we're here.

00:34Did you ever imagine that there'd be a squirrel at this dream shop?

00:38No.

00:39That was not in the plan.

00:41Show your wife what you have.

00:45He was found by a neighbor right in the middle of the street.

00:49You're a big, big boy, aren't you?

00:52His eyes were closed.

00:53He was very tiny.

00:54The first thing we tried to do was to put it out to see if the mother would reclaim.

00:59And there was no activity with that.

01:02So that pretty much confirmed that there was no mother.

01:06I mean, what's going to happen?

01:09We started caring for it.

01:11I had to bottle feed him every three hours through the night.

01:16He's like grandma.

01:19She's like mom.

01:22We spent a lot of time together.

01:24He was just really sweet and would just sit and fall asleep on me.

01:27His eyes are open now.

01:29He's running around a lot.

01:34Three or four days in, he was starting to begin to chew.

01:36It's good to get real food.

01:38I know.

01:39You're growing up.

01:41I had no idea what I was taking on.

01:48I was surprised at how attached to me he became.

01:53He literally just wants to be with me.

01:57He grows incredibly fast.

02:00He's more to handle now.

02:04He'll race around.

02:05He can be scratchy.

02:06He can be nibbly.

02:08It's a lot.

02:11We're slowly in transition.

02:13We've been taking him out and he starts wandering out in the world.

02:18He's got a safe place to run back to.

02:21It's a hard choice.

02:22The whole point of it was to help him get back to nature and be in that life.

02:27Charlie has been a surprising friend.

02:31Animals in the wild are as precious as the animals that we have in our home.

02:38I will never look at squirrels the same.

02:40They're a lot more personality than you would think.
