00:12I like to go to different places, I like to go to Southport, Lake District, I like to

00:18go for walks.

00:19And how often do you do that?

00:21If it's nice weather, every week.

00:24Where would you recommend to go when the weather is nice in Lancashire?

00:29There's a nice place on the riverbank, the River River, called Continental Pub.

00:37When the weather's that hot, I'd recommend people go there, you know, you can sit out

00:44and have a chinwag.

00:47Would you recommend that for families with kids?

00:50Absolutely, absolutely.

00:52As an antidote to the great fires, you know, weather storms, you know.

00:58So where would you recommend going in Lancashire when the weather is nice?

01:01When the weather's nice, I think it depends, it depends on your finances a lot of the time

01:05and how many children you've got, if any.

01:07But I think in general, your first stop's got to be Avonham Park, because they've absolutely

01:11made it beautiful.

01:12They've got all the new steps put in, they've got all the fountains being refurbished, all

01:17the grass is cut and it's so beautiful, summer there on the park.

01:20But then there's also Moor Park, I think we might have a few festivals coming on there.

01:25So that's worth a look.

01:26And there's the nice places for food there, and is it nice scenery?

01:29Oh yeah, yeah, you get loads of mixed food, yeah, from all continents.

01:33Yeah, and is it dog friendly around there as well?

01:35Oh totally, yeah, you can bring dogs to Avonham Park and to Moor Park, yeah.

01:39Now that's if you've not got much money and you don't want to travel far, yeah.

01:43But if you've got a car and vehicles like that, I mean, it's 45 minutes and you're in

01:47the Lake District, you know, it's only over just on the border.

01:51And you can be in like, I don't know, you can go out to, what's it called, I've forgotten

01:57the name of it now, well it kind of connects from Morecambe all the way along the sands

02:03and you come out at a lovely kind of inlet.

02:07But you know, you can drive out there and it's free to park, fantastic for the kids.

02:12So would you say it's family friendly around there?

02:14Totally family friendly, yeah, you'll have no problem.

02:17What are your favourite places to go when it's sunny in Lancashire?

02:19We like to go, there's a park just round the corner from here called Avonham Park,

02:23that's a nice place to go with the children and have a walk.

02:26And there's also a park in Burnley called Thompson's Park, that's great.

02:29It's got outdoor fool, it's got a ribby, you can go rowing in, there's a little train

02:35and there's plenty to do for the children.

02:37You can spend all day there, so we do enjoy that, don't we?

02:40Would you definitely say it's family friendly?

02:42Oh yes, definitely.

02:43And it's for all, so there's disability, like a disabled park on there as well, so it's

02:47for all children and it's really, really good.

02:49You can go there at 9 o'clock in the morning, you don't come home till 3 or 4 o'clock.

02:52Would you say that it's very dog friendly and there's a lot of dogs around?

02:55Yes, yes, yes.

02:56There's a lovely bit, a walking bit isn't there?

02:58Yeah, there's a big garden bit.

03:01Yeah, a rose garden isn't there?

03:03Yeah, it's lovely.

03:04Will you be going there when the weather gets a bit nicer?

03:05Oh yes, that's one of our adventures this week, isn't it?

03:08And then obviously we like to come to the world famous footbam.

03:12That's why we're here now at the minute.

03:14Where are your favourite places in Lancashire to go when it's sunny?

03:17Deakdale.

03:18What would you do in Deakdale?

03:24You'd go on Preston North End.

03:26Would you recommend it to your friends?

03:28Would you take your family with you?

03:30Yeah.

03:32Would you say it's really popular?

03:34Yeah, it gets good thousands.

03:36Favourite places to go in Lancashire when it's sunny?

03:39I like going to Libham.

03:41And I like going to Scorton.

03:43And what do you do in Libham?

03:45Nice walk along the front.

03:47Nice lunch before that.

03:49And have you always gone there?

03:51We have, yes.

03:52Are there any nice areas to walk your dog there?

03:55Yeah.

03:56Lots of dogs there?

03:57Yeah.

03:58And then Scorton, that's lovely.

04:00Yeah, what do you like to do there?

04:02We go for a walk, we do a lot of walking.

04:17Yeah, definitely.
