00:17The PCG monitored an oil spill 5.6 nautical miles east of Lamau Point in Lemay, Bataan.

00:23It has an estimated length of 2 nautical miles and is carried by the strong current heading

00:28east to northeast.

00:30Authorities are determining the gravity of the oil spill and the response needed to

00:34address the disaster.

00:35Meantime, in Pampanga, 96 villages across nine towns and one city were affected by the

00:40heavy rain.

00:42In Metro Manila and nearby provinces, motorists and commuters were stranded after heavy rain

00:46brought by the southwest monsoon, intensified by Typhoon Karina, caused heavy flooding.
