00:02Friends, in this video we will discuss about Istikhara.

00:08Actually, the biggest misconception about Istikhara is that

00:13we different people who say that we do Istikhara,

00:18then to make someone else do Istikhara is not Sunnah.

00:23As if we see this Sahih Bukhari Hadith,

00:27in which it is written in Hadith No. 1162,

00:31Hazrat Jabir bin Abdullah R.A. narrates that

00:35Rasulullah S.A.W. teaches us to do Istikhara in everything

00:40as if he teaches us a Surah of the Holy Quran.

00:44Prophet S.A.W. said,

00:46when one of you wants to do something,

00:49then it is obligatory to offer two Raka'at of Salah,

00:52and then pray this Dua.

00:54One should do Istikhara himself,

00:56and not make someone else do it.

00:58There is also a misconception about Istikhara,

01:01that it is obligatory to sleep,

01:03and then it is obligatory to have a dream.

01:06There is no need for such Istikhara.

01:09Istikhara can be done during the day as well.

01:12As it is written, apart from Fardh Salah,

01:14you can do Istikhara in Zuhur,

01:16in Asr, in Maghrib as well.

01:18You can do it in Isha as well.

01:20It is not obligatory to sleep.

01:22Istikhara means that you ask Allah for goodness.

01:25This is Istikhara's Dua.

01:27You can download it on your mobile,

01:30offer Salah,

01:32and then pray Istikhara.

01:34You have to keep in mind that

01:36you will pray the rest of the Dua.

02:44your livelihood is better than your work,

02:46then you have to decide about this.

02:48And make it easy for me.

02:50And then put blessings in it for me.

03:02whether you want to do it or not.

03:04And then again,

03:05Allah says,

03:15So here again,

03:16you have to keep this in mind.

03:18And then it is written,

03:19My livelihood is worse than my work.

03:21So keep it away from me.

03:23And keep it away from me.

03:27And decide goodness for me.

03:29Wherever it is,

03:30then make me pleased with it.

03:32The biggest advantage of this charity

03:34is that if you do all this,

03:36then you will never regret it.

03:38No matter how big the decision is,

03:40if you read this one prayer,

03:42read two Nafl,

03:43and read this prayer,

03:44after that,

03:45whatever decision you make,

03:46your heart will be at peace all your life.

03:48And you will never regret your decision.

03:51And there is another small prayer,

03:53a brief one.

03:54Now for this,

03:55it is necessary to do ablution,

03:56to read two rak'ahs.

03:57But if you are in a shop,

03:59and you are doing some immediate charity,

04:01then see,

04:02it is written,

04:04help and guidance.

04:05If you want,

04:06while walking,

04:07this is that prayer,

04:08it is written,

04:09very useful,

04:10on the spot,

04:11decisions,

04:12that one may need to take.

04:14Now on the spot,

04:15if you want to take a bus,

04:16which bus should I take,

04:18or which book should I buy,

04:19which company should I buy,

04:20four shoes,

04:21which shoe should I buy,

04:22whatever.

04:23So whatever immediate decision you want to take,

04:25then you can read this prayer on that.

04:27Allahumma khirli wakhtarli.

04:29Allahumma khirli wakhtarli.

04:32So this is a walking ablution.

04:34If you read this prayer,

04:35then inshaAllah,

04:36Allah will give you help and guidance,

04:38and whatever decision you make,

04:40it will be best for you.

04:41So I am repeating this again and again,

04:43do ablution yourself.

04:44Sunnah is to do ablution yourself.

04:46To involve anyone,

04:47this is not in Sunnah.

04:48So do ablution yourself,

04:50ask from Allah yourself,

04:51and inshaAllah,

04:52after ablution,

04:53whatever decision you make,

04:54you will never regret it.
