00:13The best time to view the Milky Way this month will be on July 5th, during the new moon.

00:18Right after celebrating fireworks for the 4th of July, you can bask under the glow of

00:24On July 21st, the Thunder Moon will rise.

00:27It is appropriately nicknamed the Thunder Moon due to stormy weather being more prevalent

00:31around this time of year.

00:33Additionally, it is also known as the Buck Moon, the Berry Moon, and the Salmon Moon.

00:38Lastly, July 29th through July 31st, during the nighttime hours, get ready for back-to-back

00:43meteor showers.

00:45The peak of the southern Delta Aquarids and the peak of the Alpha Capricornids.

00:49Together, the meteor showers combine to produce about 20 meteors per hour for three nights.
