We often hear that trying new things can open up a world of excitement and fun. Today, we dive into one such thrilling adventure. F1 Arcade in Chamberlain Square offers a state-of-the-art virtual racing experience. Let's get in the fast lane and see what it's all about.

00:00F1 Arcade is a fully immersive F1 experience without the danger I suppose.

00:08We've got 53 simulators, you can have teams racing, you can race against each

00:13other, race against teams. We have free racing, we have different tracks from

00:18around the world and you're immersed into sort of a different world of food,

00:25cocktails, beer. We have DJs, we have DJs at the weekend as well so it's something

00:30for everybody really. Utilising advanced F1 racing simulators, participants can

00:37experience driving on some of the world's most famous tracks with

00:41different race modes including team racing and head-to-head competitions. As

00:45much as I like a challenge, today I opted for a lower difficulty setting as

00:51fortunately for me, F1 Arcade takes pride in making sure it caters to all sorts of

00:56different patrons. Genuinely the sort of people we get here, we have a range from

01:02you know the young kids, kids parties but generally 18 to 50 year old demographic

01:07really. They're celebrating birthdays, we have groups of lads coming in and just

01:10enjoying themselves before they go out for a beer. I have older couples

01:15coming in you know with their adult children. I've been here you know a

01:20few times with my kids. They just enjoy the experience and I think what's

01:24super nice, I think that the food offering does actually really

01:28complement the racing. Sort of for everybody, some pizzas and burgers. Just a

01:32nice all-round experience. One of the most remarkable aspects of F1 Arcade is

01:37the thriving sense of community it fosters. A warm and welcoming atmosphere

01:42creates an unforgettable experience. The magic behind this atmosphere lies in its

01:48high-tech simulators that truly capture the F1 experience. Super realistic I

01:55mean gosh if you go to the elite package I mean you're in full control of the car

01:59you know the gears, the whole shebang. What it does do quite cleverly

02:03you've got five different skill levels so if you are with a team of people that

02:07you're racing there are different levels you can all have a different skill

02:11setting but you're all still racing against each other and you still feel as

02:14though even with more help on the lower settings you can have an equal race that's

02:19quite clever but lastly if you go into the elite setting you're in it you and

02:23you're not skilled you're in a bit of trouble. Beyond the thrilling races F1

02:28Arcade hosts watch parties for major events like the Silverstone Grand Prix.

02:33These gatherings attract a diverse crowd of F1 fans bringing an electric

02:39atmosphere that amplifies the excitement of every turn and overtake.

02:45To be surrounded by 350 F1 fans all in the same arena I've not seen the likes of it to be

02:50fair you see with football or you know tennis what have you but certainly F1

02:55this is a first for me yeah it's great fun.
