We're in the final few weeks of 2023 now and we're fast approaching a new year where lots of big events will be taking place across Birmingham and the wider West Midlands. So today in your What's On guide we're bringing you just a few things we all have to look forward to.

00:00 First up, the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery is set to reopen fully this summer.

00:06 The city's world famous collection of pre-Raphaelite art is going on display for the first time

00:11 in more than five years.

00:13 This collection celebrates Birmingham's historic importance as a centre for arts and crafts.

00:22 A music venue with more than 300 capacity will be opening its doors in Sturchley in

00:27 the spring.

00:28 Sally Brown's will be opened by Stephen Dybis and will not only be a live music venue, but

00:33 will have an upstairs cafe, a garden and a rehearsal and creative space too.

00:41 Also worth the mention, travel will be a lot easier with passenger services resuming on

00:45 the Camp Hill line later in the year.

00:48 Birmingham Airport will also unveil its new speedier security system and the Metro service

00:54 is also set to complete its line to Dudley Town Centre.
