The publishing media organization WikiLeaks, confirmed Monday that Australian journalist Julian Assange, and founder of the site, has been free since the afternoon. teleSUR

00:00Through its sex account, Wikileaks announces that Julian Assange is free on bail.

00:04The post states that Assange is free and that he left Belmar's maximum security prison on the

00:09morning of June 24th after having spent 1,901 days there. He was granted bail by the High

00:15Court in London and was released at the Stansted Airport during the afternoon where he boarded a

00:20plane and departed the United Kingdom. After more than five years in a 2 by 3 meter cell,

00:25isolated 23 hours a day, he would join with his wife, Stella Assange, and their children.

00:31Wikileaks published groundbreaking stories about government corruption and human rights abuses,

00:36holding the powerful accountable for their actions. As Editor-in-Chief,

00:39Assange paid severely for these principles and for the people's right to know.

00:44Finally, the Wikileaks statement indicates that as Assange returns to Australia, they think
