00:00We're delighted to be here at Cavendish Junior School today to celebrate Mr Turner, the caretaker,

00:05winning a silver award for the Pearson National Teaching Award in the category of Unsung Hero.

00:12Mr Turner is so deserving of this award. From a school point of view,

00:17the second I walked in this building it has Mr Turner written all over it. He is the absolute

00:22definition of hero and as a school we want to sing and shout about it as much as possible.

00:27The school, I said to the staff this morning, the school really is a magical special place

00:32to learn, to work and a lot of that is down to Lee and everything that is about to come his way

00:37is thoroughly well deserved. A little bit of a shock but absolutely what a hero and thank you

00:45Lee. Thank you very much. It's certainly been a bit of a morning this morning but it's a pleasure
