R.E.M. reunites to performs live for the first time in 15 years at Songwriters Hall of Fame induction. The legendary rock band took everyone by surprise Thursday night at the Songwriters Hall of Fame gala with a performance of their hit song 'Losing My Religion.' Despite comments made earlier in the day on CBS mornings denying the possibility of a reunion performance, members Michael Stipe, Mike Mills, Bill Berry and Peter Buck dusted off their instruments and took the stage at New York's Marriott Marquis hotel. This is the band's first public performance as a group since a 2008 concert in Mexico City. Taylor Swift officially confirms 'the Eras Tour' will close out in December. During the 100th performance of Swift's critically acclaimed 'Eras Tour'in Liverpool, England the Grammy award winning singer announced that she would be taking her final bow in December. The tour kicked off in March of 2023 and has traveled across the United States, South America, Asia, Australia, and most recently Europe. The final performance of 'the Eras Tour' is currently set for December 8 in Vancouver, Canada. Andy Summers solo tour traveling around the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand. Guitarist for The Police Andy Summers has hit the road solo on his tour 'The Cracked Lens + A Missing String.' The 2 hour long show features Summers performing original songs and hits by The Police on his guitar, telling stories, and engaging with audience members. The show also features projections of his own photography to compliment the songs and stories that are being told.
