00:02 - Hello, I'm Hyun Min Sun.
00:09 This is my story.
00:10 I started maybe when I was like nine years old
00:19 and also before 2002,
00:21 but I growing up with the 2002 World Cup in South Korea
00:26 and watched a lot of games
00:28 and this was my dream to play World Cup.
00:30 Yeah, I had a good memory for that.
00:33 I growing up and I watched a lot of times Cristiano Ronaldo
00:37 and because he played Manchester United
00:40 and his teammate was Park Ji Sung
00:43 was a South Korean player.
00:45 They played together.
00:46 I watched him a lot of times.
00:49 That's why he's still my idol.
00:52 You know, he's a lot better than me
00:56 and I just still watch him sometimes in YouTube
00:59 or some video clips of him, you know,
01:02 because I can still practice a lot of from him.
01:06 Now he is my agent.
01:08 He's went to South Korea
01:10 and then with some scouts in Hamburg and Nuremberg
01:15 and they picked three players each team
01:19 and then my agent and Hamburg, Hamburg, Hamburg High School,
01:25 they picked me up and I joined Hamburg as well.
01:29 Of course it was difficult but different as well.
01:32 You know, when I was 16, I left my country
01:34 away from my parents,
01:37 but I was just thinking,
01:39 this is my dream to play in Europe.
01:41 I need to take the chance, you know.
01:45 It's not coming every day, you know.
01:48 I just took the chance.
01:50 You know, for me it was difficult
01:52 away from parents, away from country
01:54 with 16 years old, it's not easy ones.
01:59 But in my head I was just thinking,
02:04 this is just my dream, I will just keep work hard.
02:07 You know, some people, some players want to join here
02:10 and not make it, you know.
02:14 Enjoyed and, you know, I feel sorry.
02:16 I had a good memory and I changed from Hamburg
02:21 to Leverkusen and then my first game against Hamburg
02:24 I scored a hat-trick and this is,
02:26 I feel sorry to the Hamburg fans,
02:30 or Hamburg city, because
02:33 this is my first memory because
02:37 this was my first hat-trick against my ex-team
02:41 and felt just sorry and
02:44 my first hat-trick, that's all I think.
02:47 For me it was a dream to play Premier League
02:49 and before I moved to England I just told
02:53 my manager I want to change to England because
02:56 I can't take the chance, you know,
03:00 it's my dream to play Premier League
03:02 and growing up I watched so many games
03:05 in the Premier League, you know.
03:07 First game I did a little bit not good performance
03:10 and everyone was worried about, you know,
03:13 maybe the change was too early from Germany to England,
03:16 everyone was talking about,
03:18 but I was confident to play here
03:19 and all the coaching staff and
03:24 all the Tottenham behind me, they support me, you know.
03:28 He make me better than before, you know,
03:30 a lot better, you know.
03:32 I work really hard, training is really good.
03:35 You know, even if I don't play,
03:37 the training session is always tough
03:39 and you always feel, you know,
03:41 I can't, his big team is impossible
03:44 because he's just unbelievable.
03:46 He's scored so many goals,
03:47 he can score from everywhere, you know.
03:50 For me, he's just one of the best strikers
03:52 and I say, after the game as well,
03:55 he's younger than me, but he works really, really hard.
03:59 Yeah, this was my dream, when I growing up,
04:02 I was thinking, yeah, when I play for professional team,
04:06 everyone just look at me,
04:09 this is my role model, this Sonny,
04:11 like this was my role, this was my dream,
04:14 but I don't know if everyone thinking,
04:18 yeah, Sonny is my role model,
04:20 but, you know, I won, last season I won twice
04:25 the Premier, play of the month.
04:28 This make me so happy, this was, I think, best,
04:31 best thing you can do.
04:34 Dream, you dreaming, you can do what you want, you know.
04:38 But in Korea, they say,
04:42 you should dreaming bigger than bigger, you know.
04:45 Bigger than what you think, you know.
04:47 Yeah, of course, the football players dreaming
04:50 about Ballon d'Or, about winning, winning for title, you know.
04:55 This is one of my dream.
