Your Friday travel forecast for June 7

If you'll be hitting the road or taking to the skies this Friday, AccuWeather's Justin Povick has the forecast you'll need for your plans.

00:04 looking a little active in the

00:06 Northeast and the Southeast,

00:07 but the Northwest and the Southwest

00:08 look to be in good shape for the

00:10 most part, but a lot of heat out

00:12 there from Las Vegas toward Phoenix.

00:14 So again, hydration,

00:15 finding ways to stay cool key and again,

00:17 if you're doing any hiking or any

00:19 camping or perhaps your outset about

00:21 here on many of the great trails

00:23 throughout the interior,

00:24 do beware there's going to be some

00:26 lightning strikes and thunderstorms

00:27 around out there,

00:28 Kirky and Denver toward the afternoon.

00:30 Also looking at his own a severe

00:32 weather into Nebraska where we could

00:33 see numerous severe thunderstorms.

00:35 That's where there could be some major delays,

00:37 but on either side of that,

00:39 at least minor delays toward Omaha and

00:41 Denver and Miami in the midst of all

00:43 the heat and the humidity and pretty

00:45 nice looking weather conditions here

00:47 throughout the Tennessee Valley and

00:49 we can't roll out a shower to toward

00:51 Detroit as well as some showers and

00:53 thunderstorms here into the Northeast.
