Liam Keen talks about any potential outgoings and how this summer will be different to the last for Wolves.

00:14 that have done well. Obviously Pedro Neto is probably going to be someone who's top

00:17 of that list. We've already seen, you know, links months ago. Arthur Castle was one, Manchester

00:21 City is another one. How do you think the land will lie in terms of potential outgoings

00:29 this summer compared to what we saw last summer which was quite drastic in terms of having

00:37 to balance finances?

00:39 Yeah, it's going to be a very different summer in the sense that they're not beholden to

00:45 letting players go. But at the same time, without a lot of investment from the owners,

00:51 they will be in a position where they can't do a lot, some, but not a lot without letting

00:55 probably a big sale go. Self-sufficient is really the phrase that we've been speaking

00:59 about. So last summer, and those are two very different things, I think fans sometimes get

01:03 them confused to say, "Oh, well, it's the same position as last summer." No, they are

01:08 slightly different. I'll explain why. Last summer, Wolves had to sell these players and

01:12 we know that they just got over the threshold for PSR and staying within the rules. They

01:18 had to sell these players to make that a reality. This summer, they don't have to sell anyone.

01:23 They're in a much better financial position. They could go into the next season with the

01:26 exact same squad, having not sold a single player and be near enough, roughly fine from

01:32 a financial position. But obviously that's not bringing additions in. Che Adams, I can

01:37 imagine with it being a free transfer, there'll be a couple that they could do, maybe a loan

01:40 or two here and there without having to sell anyone. But if we're talking about fairly

01:44 serious investment in the squad, you probably need to sell a player or two, bring in 60

01:49 million or so, make a good profit on a big asset, and then you can reinvest that money.

01:55 So that's sort of where Wolves are at at the moment. Again, we talk about who blinks first

01:59 with the season tickets. It'd be very interesting who blinks first when it comes to transfers

02:03 because Boatswain's perspective or decision going into this summer and their strategy

02:10 for the club is that they want it to be sound sufficient, run as a good business. They're

02:13 not going to pump money in every year. This is a new way that they want to work going

02:17 forward. Do they get to transfer deadline day and they haven't got a key signing in,

02:22 whether it's a striker, for example, and they've got no other outgoings heading out the door.

02:27 Do Fosun jump and decide, right, let's just invest a little bit of money just to make

02:33 sure Gary O'Neill's got what he needs. They could definitely do that. I don't think it's

02:37 likely because they've got their strategy going forward, but it's certainly an interesting

02:40 one to keep an eye on. I do think it'll be a much more seamless summer for Wolves from

02:45 a financial and signings point of view or business point of view. But obviously, as

02:51 you've spoken about, they've got the issue and the pressure of season tickets to contend
