00:36The bribe was purportedly an inducement to help the company secure a tender to maintain
00:41and supply spare parts for the infrastructure, server, software and RMP-Net radio system
00:47of the Royal Malaysia Police, a contract worth over 381 million ringgit.
00:53The offence was allegedly committed at Nexus Corp office at Jalan Keluli 7-109, Section
00:587 in Shah Alam at 4 p.m. in December 2020.
01:03Syed Amir was charged under Section 16A-A of the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission
01:09MACC Act 2009 and faces a maximum of 20 years' imprisonment and a fine of no less than five
01:17times the amount of gratification or 10,000 ringgit, whichever is higher, upon conviction.
