పీఠాపురం వైసీపి ఎమ్మెల్యే అభ్యర్థి వంగా గీత తన సంస్కారాన్ని చాటుకున్నారు. రాజకీయ ప్రత్యర్ధులు అనే అంశాన్ని పక్కన పెట్టి మెగా కుటుంబంతో తనకు ఉన్న అనుబంధాన్ని బహిర్గతం చేసారు. చాలా మంది పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ ను విమర్శించాలని చెప్పినా తాను విమర్శించలేదని వివరించారు. చిరంజీవితో తనది అన్నా చెళ్లెల్ల అనుబందమని వంగా గీత పేర్కొన్నారు.
