00:03 The video, captured on multiple cameras, shows Combs assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassie

00:09 Ventura, in a hallway at a Los Angeles hotel in March 2016.

00:14 A lawsuit filed by Ventura in November last year and settled the next day referenced actions

00:19 that seem to match those seen in this video.

00:23 There is no audio.

00:26 According to the complaint, Combs became extremely intoxicated and punched Ms. Ventura in the

00:31 face, giving her a black eye, which, according to the lawsuit, prompted Ventura to try and

00:37 leave the hotel room.

00:39 The surveillance video obtained by CNN begins as she enters the hallway.

00:44 The complaint says as she exited, Mr. Combs awoke and began screaming at Ms. Ventura.

00:49 He followed her into the hallway of the hotel while yelling at her.

00:52 The complaint goes on to say he grabbed her and then took glass vases in the hallway and

00:58 threw them at her.

00:59 In the surveillance video, Combs can be seen grabbing Ventura and throwing her to the ground.

01:05 As Ventura lies on the ground, Combs then kicks her twice and attempts to drag her on

01:10 the floor back to the hotel room.

01:14 Ventura is seen picking up a hotel phone.

01:17 Combs seems to walk back to the hotel room, then returns and appears to shove her in a

01:21 corner.

01:22 Moments later, he can be seen throwing an object in her direction.

01:27 According to Ventura's now settled lawsuit, the pair began dating several years after

01:31 they met in 2005.

01:33 They parted ways in 2019.

01:36 Combs' attorney said the decision to settle was in no way an admission of wrongdoing.

01:42 Ventura declined to comment on the video, but her attorney told CNN the gut-wrenching

01:47 video has only further confirmed the disturbing and predatory behavior of Mr. Combs.

01:53 Words cannot express the courage and fortitude that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward

01:59 to bring this to light.

02:00 The video hasn't been seen publicly before and comes on the heels of a series of civil

02:05 lawsuits alleging Combs' involvement in sex trafficking and sexual abuse, allegations

02:11 Combs has repeatedly denied.

02:14 In a December 2023 statement, Combs responded to the claims in all the lawsuits, saying,

02:19 "Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday.

02:25 Let me be absolutely clear, I did not do any of the awful things being alleged."

02:30 CNN has reached out to representatives for Combs for comment.
