00:16 I think we were all so in on making sure that this stays a surprise

00:28 I don't know how we did it. I'm glad we did it.

00:30 It was really special when it happened tonight on stage.

00:36 I think we're hearing that you reached out wanting to be a part of this.

00:40 What made you so inspired to perform with Chris or just be here tonight?

00:45 Just being a massive fan of his.

00:47 He's a master of his craft.

00:51 I've been a fan of his for so long.

00:54 To have had the opportunity to sit down and brainstorm ideas

00:58 on how we can reimagine the song for tonight

01:01 and bring something really special and unique.

01:03 To even just spend a few days with him, working with him and his band

01:08 and with his wife Morgan as well.

01:10 It's just been absolutely incredible.

01:13 It's one of those moments in my life where I was like,

01:16 "Man, I'm so happy to be a musician and to be creating something

01:21 and doing something that feels so exciting."

01:25 I'm learning so much from every experience

01:28 and this has been one that's for the books for me for sure.

01:31 Hopefully it extends beyond tonight.

01:34 I know you're both going to be at ACL so maybe you'll team up again there.

01:37 Oh, maybe.

01:39 I know that I definitely want to be in the crowd watching him perform for sure.

01:43 Just as a fan. But we'll see.

01:45 Beyond Chris, does that fandom extend to other parts of country music?

01:48 I know peers like Post Malone are now dipping a toe in.

01:51 Does that excite you too?

01:52 It was so cool to see him on stage tonight.

01:54 It's really fun. I love country music.

01:56 I love the storytelling behind it.

01:58 It's so passionate and raw.

02:21 And I just love to gather everyone at home and hang out and drink and eat and chat and listen to music.
