00:23 Clark, plus 950.

00:25 Third in line here right now at the Fandula Sportsbook

00:28 to win a possible MVP with those odds.

00:31 Let's talk about-- we're not supposed

00:33 to start with Kaitlyn Clark.

00:34 The chances that she wins the actual MVP,

00:37 and also, are we pricing it appropriately?

00:39 Are we putting just too much on her shoulders

00:41 right now to be third in line right now in odds?

00:44 I think it's a little bit too lofty of an expectation.

00:48 Third best number, one of three players in the WNBA,

00:52 along with the last two MVPs in this league,

00:56 to have less than a four-digit price.

01:00 Kaitlyn Clark is going to have some success

01:02 to start off her WNBA career.

01:05 There is no doubt about that.

01:06 We saw flashes early in her W preseason games for Indiana.

01:11 Ben, it's preseason.

01:12 I understand.

01:13 She is capable of this moment.

01:15 She is going to prove why she is one

01:17 of the greats of this generation in women's college basketball,

01:21 one of the greatest to ever do it,

01:23 and now into the professional ranks as well.

01:25 Donnie highlighted that many of the old guard, the vets,

01:28 were a little bit skeptical that she would come into the WNBA

01:31 and take over things right away.

01:33 There are going to be some growing pains as you

01:36 get to this next elite level, but Kaitlyn Clark is going

01:39 to have a rapid success in the WNBA,

01:42 enough to win the MVP award in a rookie campaign

01:45 in Indianapolis.

01:47 I remain a little bit skeptical.

01:49 I would also say, Donnie, when you look at those odds,

01:52 I mentioned the narrative.

01:53 And this is a narrative award.

01:55 Stewie, in her first year with the New York Liberty,

01:58 was sensational.

02:00 But many thought Asia Wilson, leading the Las Vegas Aces

02:03 to the number one seed in the WNBA, a 19-1 home record.

02:07 As Donnie knows, it's very difficult to walk

02:10 into the Michelob Ultra Arena on the strip.

02:12 It walked out with a victory that Asia Wilson was more

02:16 than deserving of the WNBA MVP award.

02:20 And now she's the even money favorite,

02:22 $7 in front of Brianna Stewart entering this season.

02:26 It's a little bit like Jokic being the preseason NBA MVP

02:31 Many people thought he should have won his third straight,

02:33 but the narrative kept him from doing that.

02:36 I think Asia Wilson is the rightful favorite entering

02:39 this year's MVP conversation.

02:41 Again, I believe in Kaitlyn Clark.

02:43 She is going to win the WNBA Rookie of the Year award

02:47 and is a minus 700 favorite to do just that.

02:50 But to expect her in her first year in the W

02:54 to win the most valuable player hardware,

02:57 that's a little bit too lofty.
