Texas storms could have major effects on travel in the central U.S. this weekend

Meanwhile, much of the rest of the country can expect mild to no delays.

00:07 If you're waking up to thunderstorms

00:08 or possibly getting more for the afternoon,

00:10 but notice the Northwest new storm

00:12 system coming in Seattle.

00:13 Minor delays with kind of that

00:15 chillier setup.

00:15 This has rainfall into California.

00:17 Look at San Francisco.

00:18 Some heavy rain possible as we go

00:20 through portions of the day.

00:21 Minor delays there,

00:22 maybe even major delays.

00:23 It's a cold windy pattern,

00:24 so Las Vegas.

00:25 It's about the winds for you.

00:27 That's going to be a big issue.

00:29 The winds for you that will create

00:31 those minor delays as we will have

00:33 that in Albuquerque to Dallas

00:34 thunderstorms possible through

00:35 the afternoon Houston.

00:36 We don't want to hear about more

00:38 thunderstorms, but that's what's

00:39 going to give us those major delays.

00:41 No problems in New Orleans,

00:43 but showers,

00:43 thunderstorms found pretty much elsewhere.

00:46 the Southeast except for some lesser

00:48 amounts through the Atlantic coastline.

00:49 So Atlanta minor delays for you as

00:51 you push into places like Columbus.

00:53 A few minor delays possible due to

00:55 thunderstorms and we will have a few

00:57 have a few travel delays through the

01:00 Northeast but not as much through New England.
