First of all, will you be voting in the election on May 2nd?
00:05
Not really, because I haven't got a clue who to vote for, you know what I mean?
00:10
Yeah, okay. I mean, have you looked at it, you know, have you thought about it?
00:15
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:16
Why don't you know who it is?
00:17
Well, if I thought I was going to vote, it would be for Conservatives again.
00:24
What do you think of the job that the council's doing at the moment?
00:29
I haven't got any good votes from the council at the moment.
00:32
Why is that?
00:33
Well, if you've got someone with, you know, your premises, we've got a council out, so nothing gets done.
00:43
And you're having to wait a long time for repair jobs and stuff like that.
00:50
Yeah.
00:52
What are, you know, for you, when you think about, if you thought about how you were going to vote,
00:57
what were the important issues you'd want sorting out?
00:59
Well, health service, for one.
01:01
Yeah, but if the council doesn't do that, the council's not going to do anything.
01:03
Yeah.
01:05
On a local level.
01:06
On a local level, more jobs done on the premises we live in, like.
01:11
Yeah, so it's housing for you.
01:13
Housing, yeah.
01:14
Yeah. I mean, I suppose Sandlow Council would say they don't have enough money to do it, wouldn't they?
01:19
Yeah, but they have my money every year.
01:21
Yeah.
01:22
So where's that going?
01:23
Yeah.
01:24
Yeah.
01:27
OK, so well, thanks ever so much for your time.
01:29
No problem.
01:30
Bye Mark.
01:31
So how will you be voting in the election then?
01:33
I'll be voting for the Green Party.
01:34
Yeah, and why is that?
01:35
Because of the environments, the pollution in the rivers, also on the roads, potholes.
01:46
So I just think, hopefully they'll do a better job.
01:49
Yeah.
01:50
What do you think of the job that the peasants, the Labour council's doing at the moment in Sandwell?
01:54
Do you think they're doing a good job or not?
01:56
Yeah, in general, I mean, they provide good services.
02:00
Yeah.
02:02
Like the bins, you know, a lot of them, they have to pay.
02:06
I mean, you do have to pay for the green one, but others, you know, you get like plastic bags and stuff.
02:13
Yeah.
02:14
Yeah.
02:15
So if you're happy with the job they're doing, do you think the Greens will do a better job then?
02:20
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
02:22
Yeah, just listen to the news, you know, you just see all the things that are going wrong.
02:28
Just a way of putting things right, you know.
02:30
Yeah.
02:32
OK, so well, thanks very much.
02:33
OK, no problem.
02:34
What's your name please, sir?
