Express and Star reporter Daniel Coles moved back to the Black Country after living London for six months.

00:00Given that I've just moved here, and we're talking about how good the area is, I thought we'd come out into the centre,

00:05talk to a few people and see what they think of Wolverhampton.

00:08For me, I think there's a community spirit here. I think there's a place to live as opposed to just a place to stay.

00:14I find that in Birmingham, I find that here. It's just a place where I feel at home.

00:20And I'm hoping everyone agrees.

00:25The best thing about the West Midlands is the community and how the people are strong together.

00:30When we unite, there's nothing that can beat us. And our food as well, second to none.

00:35Hi, I'm PC27205 Allsop, and I currently work in Wolverhampton City Centre.

00:41I've worked in the city centre for about five, six months now.

00:46And the things I've noticed is the diversity within the city.

00:50The youth as well, we look to bring up the youth within the city, give them a safe environment to live in.

00:57Hi, my name is Siva Kharil, and I'm owner of 899 Shop in Wolverhampton.

01:04And I've been here more than 10 years.

01:08And I live with our customers, and they're very good customers, and everybody's happy.

01:13And I make fresh food and fresh service, and everything is good.
