Miraculous escape for homeowner as BMW ploughs into lounge in Bromford, Birmingham

Bromford resident Mohammed Nasar Ali was sleeping in his lounge when the vehicle smashed into his lounge on Monday 15th April.

00:10 Muhammad Ansar Ali took a nap when the vehicle smashed through his home in Chipperfield Road,

00:16 Bromford at around midday on Monday.

00:19 Mr Ali recounted being awoken by the crash and being rescued by six police officers.

00:26 Unfortunately, he suffered minor injuries and was taken to Heartland's Hospital for

00:32 Meanwhile, the BMW driver fled the scene, leaving behind chaos and damage.

00:38 Emergency services and engineers worked to stabilise the property, closing off Collingbourne
