Remake Grupos Adaptaciones de Edgar Allan Poe Sinopsis Una noche de tormenta, una criada recibe la llamada de los señores de la casa diciéndole que debido a la climatología se retrasarán. Para hacer tiempo, la muchacha comienza a leer un libro que encuentra sobre una mesa, titulado "Obras maestras del terror", el cual contiene tres historias del escritor norteamericano Edgar Allan Poe (Las 3 fueron adaptadas en 1959 por Narciso Ibáñez Serrador, en una serie de TV con el mismo nombre):
-El caso del Sr. Valdemar: Un científico experimenta con la magnetización (hipnósis) como cura para las enfermedades mentales. Su discípulo más fiel cae presa de una enfermedad mortal, y el científico tendrá oportunidad de probar si el magnetismo puede preservar al individuo de la Muerte.
-El tonel del amontillado: El Sr. Samivet es un aburrido viñatero cuya esposa clama, luego de tres años de matrimonio, por alguna diversión que rompa la rutina. Pero las fiestas de la vendimia que se realizan ya son costumbre para ella. Hasta que llega un joven y apuesto buhonero, que enamora a la mujer, provocando la venganza más terrible por parte del tranquilo Samivet.
-El corazón delator: Un joven vive con el viejo dueño de una relojería que posee un ojo de vidrio. A medida que en el joven va creciendo el odio, éste se concentra en el macabro ojo. La tragedia no tarda en desencadenarse.
