North West News Update 13/3/24: Lancashire Police to take action against officer who was filmed kicking a drink driving suspect in the head

00:09 Lancashire Police are set to take action against an officer who was filmed kicking a drink-driving

00:14 suspect in the head. The incident was filmed outside a spa in Thwaites Road, Osseltwistle

00:20 at around 12.30pm on Friday and was later shared on social media. In the video, the

00:27 officer can be seen dragging the driver out of a Ford Focus before kicking the man's head

00:32 as another officer detained him. A police spokesman said "We are aware of the video

00:38 and it is being investigated. The officer has been removed from the operational roles

00:42 until the matter is investigated."

00:46 Tesco shoppers in Blackpool are set for a share of a 500k gold rush as part of a lucky

00:51 dip. As part of the supermarket's Stronger Starts campaign, between 12 noon and 1pm,

00:58 shoppers in 100 Tesco stores, including Blackpool Martin Express, can take a lucky dip. The

01:38 is long gone, Gloria got to the nearest thing by the Casino Cafe of the Grand Arcade on

01:46 her recent visit. To mark the 60th anniversary of Tainted Love, she was a special guest held

01:52 in Whalley, East Lancashire with Wigan Casino legend Ross Stanley. She said she loves Wigan

01:58 and the Wigan people and thanks them for coming out to dance.

02:03 The owner of Burnley's Emma B's Hair Lounge says that business is at its lowest ebb since

02:38 An inquest has opened after a Lancaster schoolboy died in a TikTok challenge. Tommy Lee "Gracey"

02:44 Billington aged 11 died on a sleepover after apparently taking part in a dangerous social

02:51 media craze. The boy's friend had told his mother Tommy Lee lost consciousness after

02:57 inhaling toxic substances. The boy's family did not attend the hearing which was open

03:02 and adjourned until June 6th. Tommy Lee's mum Sherry warned about the TikTok craze and

03:09 said on Facebook "This cost my son his life from trying something other kids are doing.

03:16 Please talk to your children about the consequences of this. I have no idea how this even came
