Former President Donald Trump filed a notice of appeal of the New York civil judgment against him on Monday. Judge Arthur Engoron found Trump liable in December for fraudulently inflating his net worth in financial statements. Trump was ordered to pay more than $450 million in fines and interest, which continues accruing daily. Engoron also barred Trump for three years from running businesses in New York or obtaining state-registered loans.
