00:12 When you're talking about success

00:17 There's different things

00:19 Professional I think it's the people who put in the extra work

00:22 I put in a lot of extra work and it gets tiring

00:26 It's not the easiest thing all the time, but I always noticed that even within my own industry

00:31 the ones who work harder the ones who stay later the ones who just

00:36 Are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done are the ones who wind up going far

00:42 As far as personal success, I think you know, it's about being happy

00:47 It's about being good and hold on your own first a whole person on your own

00:52 So then you can share that happiness with other people in your life

00:55 and that takes work too and when you put in that work on yourself by

01:00 Exercising eating right doing your affirmations

01:05 That's all loving yourself

01:08 Then you can you can be happy because you know that you're complete on your own and then you can have as many friends and

01:15 great relationships healthy relationships

01:18 Because you will only make good choices for yourself when you love yourself a very wise woman

01:31 Yeah, and much of it I suspect not quite accurate many misconceptions about you exist

01:36 What do you think is the biggest one the biggest one?

01:39 I think it's been dispelled over the past few years, especially since I started doing American Idol

01:43 I think people used to there was a lot of stuff written about me early in my career about being a diva about wanting like

01:50 White candles and you know, like all this stuff had to be a certain way which was never true

01:55 but I think once I did American Idol people got to see the real me and

01:58 Like me a person because I didn't have a script or a song I was doing

02:03 it was just me out there talking my feelings and acting myself and

02:07 So I don't know that I have anything to dispel. I am who I am

02:11 I think people know that at this point I've been around long enough. Well, I have never met you before
