Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) will be setting up three static beats around the outer perimeter roads of Taman Tasik Titiwangsa to deter illegal traders from hawking at the popular park.

The shifts will be from noon to 9pm on weekdays and from 7am to 9pm on weekends.

The decision was made following complaints made by the residents on traffic congestion,

traders occupying parking bays, safety hazards from electric scooters and noise pollution.

Recently, enforcement officers confiscated items including 15 electric scooters, trolleys

and a food truck in the area.

"We saw the situation at the end of the week at Tasik Titiwangsa, at Kuantan Road.

We saw a lot of activities, such as robberies, bicycles, scooters that did not get permission

from the DPKL.

So we will put two or three members to monitor the Kuantan Road to ensure that there are
