Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta was pleased with the way his side dominated Burnley in their 5-0 victory at Turf Moor.

00:00 "Yeah, really happy obviously with the performance, with the results, with the individual and
00:04 collective as well. The contribution of every single player has been very, very good. And
00:11 the fact that the team looked like they wanted more, you know, they weren't satisfied, they
00:15 wanted more, they wanted to score more. They want to concede a goal, so I'm really pleased
00:19 to hit that consistency."
00:21 Is it more the domination of the game that's pleasing you?
00:31 "Yeah, obviously we want to dominate the game and play the opponents half as much as possible.
00:35 I think the threat, the purpose, the activity and the connections of the players at the
00:41 moment is flowing and they really want it. We have momentum now and we have to maintain
00:47 it. Now we leave the Premier League, we go to Porto, which we know is going to be a really,
00:53 really tough environment and game to play against. Just prepare well to go again and
00:58 be ourselves."
00:59 There's not a better player at the minute, or there's a better player at every month
01:03 than Olai, who has done a fantastic performance. He's played a slightly different role than
01:06 he did last season, but he still has a massive impact on the team. What do you say about
01:09 him?
01:10 "Yeah, I think confidence-wise he's in a really good moment. I think physically as
01:14 well, the way he applied himself, defending, attacking, the connection and the movement
01:20 that he gave us in that right-hand side is really good. Yeah, the hit in form."
01:25 How important is it that when you're dominating games now you're managing to kill it and really
01:33 add to the goal difference? For a while you were dominating but not quite killing the
01:38 game off?
01:39 "Yeah, we're showing a high efficiency at the moment in front of goal. You see especially
01:44 the purpose when we are playing, we always want to play forward and be a threat and the
01:50 players up front feel really connected at the moment. Yeah, that's a different story
01:55 because it gives us much more tranquillity, especially to finish the game off."
02:00 You say tranquillity in a title race where the stress is there for the players, how important
02:05 is it that the whole game you're not in it for 90 minutes and then you can maybe switch
02:10 off?
02:11 "We cannot think about that. We have to think about playing with that energy, with that
02:13 enthusiasm and aggression in every game. Still so far the only thing is to maintain this
02:19 momentum to end the right-to-win games and the focus is there. What is coming afterwards
02:24 we will see."
02:25 The Caglios with second goal and another right-foot finish is becoming a bit of a trademark. Did
02:30 you do a lot of work over the last few weeks or months to make it a bit more...
02:34 "Yeah, we tried our players to be unpredictable and I'm sure that the opponents are looking
02:39 at us a lot and we have to find ways as well to create problems. He has got this ability
02:44 and he trains a lot in many different situations when he's in and around the box and today
02:50 he had two brilliant finishes again."
02:52 Does this motivate Saka to show that he's on that level too?
03:01 "I have no clue. I've got a question for him but I don't think Bukayo needs much motivation."
03:06 Is it unusual to have someone of that maturity at that young age?
03:24 "We don't really see it really and especially forward players, wingers with that level of
03:30 consistency and numbers at his age is something really strange to find. It's not a coincidence,
03:36 that's for sure. When you look at him every single day, the way he trains, the way he
03:39 applies himself, the qualities that he has and he can do more."
03:43 When Martin scored the first goal he seemed very quiet, he cut his ears. Do you think
04:07 some of the criticism he had for over-celebrating against Liverpool, do you think that played
04:08 a factor?
04:09 "I don't know. I didn't notice that he made that gesture, that he was really happy in
04:12 the dressing room the way he played today. I think he was exceptional and I don't think
04:17 he needs to send any message. He needs to be himself and he needs to do what he feels
04:21 and if he feels to do something, do it and then you deal with the consequences. Some
04:25 people are going to like it and some people they won't. But we really like him."
04:29 Arsenal are pressing for the goals at the end of the season, is that an indication of
04:39 how hungry they are?
04:42 "Yes, we do want more and we know how important it is to be up there. Every play that you
04:49 bring, whether it's one minute, 30 minutes, the contribution that they are willing to
04:54 give to the team is really positive and let's keep doing it."
