Off-Duty Deputy Harassing US Government Employee - February 8, 2024

On the night of February 8th, 2024, an off-duty dayshift deputy of the Caldwell Parish, Louisiana sheriff's office stopped a motorist in a panel van because he couldn't figure out what state their license plate was out of. It was a US Government plate.
This deputy has a history of illegally stopping motorists just because he can't comprehend their out-of-state, US Government, or specialty (Military Honors, Volunteer Firefighter, etc) license plates. He also has a history of making bogus traffic stops while off-duty, which is what happened with this stop.
