Hello, I'm Sam Morton outside the Amex Stadium where Brighton have just drawn 0-0 with Wolves.
00:06
It was a cagey game really, but either side could have won. I think Brighton will be the
00:10
more frustrated out of the two sides to come away with just a point. I think they had the
00:16
lion's share of possession, 71% of possession. They couldn't quite turn that into clear-cut
00:21
chances and they had one chance in the first half with Wakanda Wainanate, a header that
00:26
perhaps he should have taken with his foot. It was cleared off the line. In the second
00:32
half, Jack Hinchlewood had a cross nearly turned into Matt Kilman's own net. It just
00:38
hit the post. So really, there were two main chances for Brighton. Wolves also were a real
00:44
threat. Pedro Neto was really lively on the counter, returning from injury. He could have
00:51
forced a winner. Jason Stewart made a couple of good saves. There was one hairy moment
00:57
with the keeper where he came out to claim the ball ahead of Mateus Kuna, who was one-on-one.
01:02
The Brazilian just managed to get there first, but still did well to narrow the angle. Kuna
01:07
made a bit of a mess of it from a tight angle and couldn't find the finish. So, a frustrating
01:13
night for Brighton. They will come away thinking they should have won with the possession they
01:18
had. They just couldn't find that killer pass. With all the possession they had, they just
01:22
couldn't find that pass. It's frustrating in that sense. Di Serbi admitted that, but
01:28
I think he'll be pleased. It's another clean sheet. Two clean sheets in a row to start
01:32
2024. You wait all year, all 2023 for one clean sheet and then two come already this
01:39
year. So that's definitely a positive. Hopefully, the goals will return soon. We've got Sheffield
01:46
United away in the FA Cup and then Luton away in the Premier League. Brighton will be looking
01:50
to bounce back quickly. It was great to see Tarek Lamptey back from injury. There's more
01:55
players reserved from injury. I'm sure the goals will return. Thank you for watching.
