00:00 EML has grown a huge amount over the past six years and part of that growth has been

00:07 taking on and supporting apprentices. And that's not always an easy thing for every

00:14 business to do because you need to support people as they learn. But what I saw at EML

00:21 was a company that really valued that and really used the company's growth to help the

00:28 people within that company grow. We have got to have more apprenticeships. We've got to

00:33 have young people going into better quality jobs where they're not just working but learning

00:39 as well. So we would change the apprenticeships levy so that it got more apprenticeships and

00:46 allowed businesses to take much more of a role. I'm really fascinated by the change

00:51 that the country is going to go through on an energy front. We all know that our energy

00:57 has got to change and electrical engineering is so at the heart of that because we're going

01:02 to need different devices like electrical charging points for cars. And there's a lot

01:08 of businesses at the moment up and down the country that are looking for more efficient,

01:12 more energy efficient lighting systems and heating systems. So I found it absolutely

01:17 fascinating to learn how they're doing that and what a good job being an electrical engineer
