00:00 Newcastle United defeated again on the road, this time a 4-1 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur.
00:07 They were from minute one really, Newcastle won in their spurs run.
00:10 They were good to be fair, they were good in the first half, they went 2-0 up.
00:14 A couple of soft goals from Newcastle's point of view, they'll be really disappointed about that.
00:18 They just went down the wing, cut it back twice for them goals and that will really disappoint Howe
00:23 because it was a really, you know, really soft goals conceded.
00:25 A doggie for the first one, ghosted in without anyone picking him up really.
00:29 The second one, Richarlison just found a little bit of space in front of Bruno and then put it in the net and it's 2-0.
00:33 So a mountain to climb for Newcastle at that point.
00:35 They could have easily gone in behind more than two at half time, I think they were very lucky to be two.
00:41 And then the second half came and they came out, to be fair, they came out and had some bright spells in front of goal.
00:45 Had a couple of chances but Spurs soon got the third just at the hour mark.
00:49 Richarlison again, a nice ball over the top from Brendan Johnson, the Cells missed it and that Djibouti came, stopped.
00:54 And that was game over, 3-0 at that point.
00:57 Djibouti late on from Son, made it 4-0 and then a really late Joel Eddon goal.
01:01 It was simply a consolation but it gave all the fans something to cheer about.
01:06 There was fans over the right of my shoulder that had a nightmare travel.
01:09 A lot of them had nightmare travel getting down here so they at least had something to cheer at the end of the game.
01:13 But yeah, it was a disappointing performance from Newcastle, one that Eddie Howe will no doubt be disappointed in.
01:18 But it's always a hard one, how much do the injuries impact them?
01:22 The Hudson in the same 10-0 field as again, how much has that taken out of this team?
01:27 What would a fully strong Newcastle team do against a Spurs team?
01:31 We're not sure, we won't know until the reverse fixture.
01:34 But another disappointing day on the travels and that means it's just one win in the Premier League away from home against Sheffield United.
01:39 Of course, they had that brilliant win at Old Trafford in the Cup but other than that, they've been really disappointing on the travels this year.
01:44 The tests don't get any easier because up next is AC Milan in a crucial Champions League match.
01:49 Next against St James' which is a real must win because you have to keep in contact with these teams above them.
01:57 Spurs have now extended their lead above Newcastle at that point.
02:01 So, it's lots to consider for Eddie Howe, a very disappointing day and one they'll go back to the drawing board and hopefully improve.
02:09 They'll be ready for AC Milan on Wednesday in the Champions League which is a massive, massive game.
02:15 It's probably a potentially season-defining encounter that one.
02:21 (applause)
