00:10 They came to the fair together with their family members so that they could make the

00:13 right decisions on their further studies.

00:15 The reason I'm here today with my family is because I want to look for more options in

00:20 the future.

00:21 So we are here to just look at many universities, but we finalised at Tarop University and they

00:26 have the degree programme that I wanted to enroll, which is computer science, based on

00:32 data science.

00:33 Yeah, we have made our decision, but we are just still going to look around and gather

00:36 more information because there's so many information here, it's very informative, and everybody

00:40 here is so friendly.

00:42 A total of 30 exhibitors showcased their offerings at the two-day STAR Education Fair, which

00:47 will run until Sunday.

00:50 Besides local institutions, the fair also attracted international establishments from

00:54 Australia, Hong Kong and the Netherlands.

00:57 So depending on your preference, so let's say the students have already very, very firm

01:02 that they want to do engineering, usually our advice is to go through the diploma route

01:07 and then you will get credit transfer into the degree.

01:10 In that sense, basically during the degree time, the student will be able to do much

01:15 better.

01:17 Representatives from several institutions also gave talks on tips and education opportunities.

01:23 The fair is held side by side with the My STAR Job Fair and admission is free with door
