Biden Says Goal for Talks With Xi Jinping is to Get U.S.-Chinese Communications Back on Stable Ground

Joe Biden talked about his success of getting back on "a normal course of corresponding" with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

00:28 From my perspective, if, in fact, the Chinese people

00:35 if the average homeowner or the homeowner --

00:37 if the average citizen in China

00:39 was able to have a decent-paying job,

00:41 that benefits them and it benefits all of us.

00:44 But I'm not going to continue to sustain the support

00:47 for positions where, if we want to invest in China,

00:50 we have to turn over all our trade secrets.
