New tickets released for 2024 Sydney and Melbourne Taylor Swift shows

Taylor Swift fans have joined long queues online and on the streets for another chance at the hottest tickets in the country. New release tickets for her Sydney and Melbourne shows, were released on Friday and many "Swifties" weren't taking any risks.

00:07 We cried for like three days straight after we didn't get them online.

00:10 For many, the online queue was too risky.

00:13 We've been trying to get them for months but the site just keeps getting shut down.

00:17 Fairway is obvious, we've got no choice.

00:19 Around the country, fearless Swifties queued through the night for the chance to be at her Sydney and Melbourne concerts in February.

00:28 We've been in line since 10pm.

00:31 Some were lining up for others.

00:33 I have a 12y, yeah, and I'd rather sit here and line up than face her wrath.

00:39 That's what you do as a brother.

00:40 Sydney-siders knew their fate shortly after 10am.

00:44 But Melbourne fans had to wait into the afternoon.

00:48 I actually called in sick to work.

00:50 It was all worth it in the end.

00:55 I'm so happy, I got two tickets and they're partially obstructed but I'm fine with that.

00:58 I would do this a million times again if I had to.

01:00 And for those who missed out, it doesn't necessarily have to be a cruel summer, with a resale happening later this month.
