Impeachment will be disastrous, Kiambu MCAs defend Governor Wamatangi

49 members of the Kiambu county assembly have come out to defend Governor Kimani Wamatangi over a looming impeachment saying that it will have disastrous consequences.

00:24 We will not mention names, but we definitely know them.

00:28 The biggest problem we are having in the county government of Kiambo is

00:33 external influence, external pressure that are coming from all quarters.

00:39 We have other politicians, we have contractors, we have brokers,

00:43 we have people with a lot of interest that are bringing this issue of

00:48 destability in the county assembly of Kiambo.

00:52 We have said these ultimatums would be better handled

00:57 within the legal frameworks of the assembly.

01:01 So if any member has queries on the issue of the county government,

01:06 the best way is to do it through the structures of the assembly,

01:11 not through the social media.
