WA Police officer Alister Swift jailed for assaulting woman during Cloverdale arrest

A serving WA police officer has been jailed for unlawfully arresting and assaulting a woman during a call out to a domestic dispute in suburban Perth. The 33-year-old officer denied any wrongdoing, but he was convicted after a trial which included his police partner on the night, testifying against him.
